Little Love Bug Co. was born from one mom’s search for the perfect baby shoe—soft, flexible, and designed to support healthy foot development. Founded in Portland, Oregon by Leslie Morrison, a devoted (and sleep-deprived) mom of two, Little Love Bug Co. began as a passion project inspired by her “little love bugs.”

When Leslie left her corporate sales career to raise her daughters, she realized that most baby shoes on the market were cute but not kind to growing feet. Determined to find a better solution, she created a line of high-quality, soft-soled leather shoes that blend function, comfort, and timeless style. Each pair encourages natural foot alignment and balance while protecting little toes from rough surfaces—just as pediatricians recommend.

What started in 2017 as a small batch of non-slip moccasins quickly grew into a beloved global brand. Parents everywhere fell in love with the durability, grip, and minimalist design of these “barefoot shoes with purpose.”
